Haume, harmony between home and environment

The aim is to live sustainably, not necessarily in the midst of nature, but rather in a home designed to be in harmony with it, so that human settlements are not in conflict with the landscape but instead an integral part of it. The UN’s 2030 Sustainability Development Goals are calling for this, and these entrepreneurs have adopted it as their guiding philosophy.

Haume is a building firm that uses wood and the dry construction system. The company uses nature’s very best building material for its homes, with attention to the smallest detail, and with less of an environmental footprint than buildings that use traditional construction materials.

Right from the start, the company has focused on offering housing with high standards of well-being, by using certified wood and other natural materials such as cork, hemp and lime. Their construction sites are also more sustainable, due to low energy use and the production of small but well-separated quantities of waste.

We like to think that all the wooden buildings we have constructed are like our small forest, which welcomes the many people and families who live there.
