Inclusive, young and people-orientated

What it means to work at Banca Ifis

Development, inclusion, and employee welfare are key elements at Banca Ifis. Our work environment is unique because we built it day by day together with our Ifis People.

Our Leadership Model helps us find the best way to prepare for the many daily challenges and promote the values we believe in.

Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are put into practice so that anyone, at any level of responsibility, can work in a transparent, fair climate and aspire to grow professionally within our organisation.

We are among the first to have joined 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion, an intra-company digital events marathon dedicated to diversity and inclusion.

Since 2021 we have been part of the Valore D association’s network, with which we work to create and disseminate an increasingly inclusive culture.

We also launched the Meet Your Accelerator programme to promote gender equality and the creation of social value through opportunities for meeting and sharing with leading figures from the worlds of business, academia and finance. The format was designed for the Ifis People and developed in cooperation with Obiettivo Cinque, a consultancy company for the promotion of gender equality within companies and institutions.

All goals can only be achieved by putting people at the centre. Our dynamic and qualified team is 54% female. Women account for approximately 35% of top management, a first in the banking sector*.

This commitment contributes to developing an organisational culture geared towards promoting gender equity, inside and outside the company. We are the first Italian bank certified for gender equality by the Winning Women Institute, a company committed to Gender Equality.

We support industry studies, research, training, and empowerment initiatives to help young female students in STEM-related fields. On this front, as a bank, we signed a partnership with the Alumni association of the Galilean School of Higher Education in Padua to support the Summer STEM Academy, a programme dedicated to STEM orientation for secondary school students.

Our support for diversity and inclusion also includes sport: we are the official sponsor of Sampdoria Women, the club’s women’s team, which will compete in the Serie A championship from 2022.

*Data at 31.12.2022

The average age is 40 years, our people are qualified and from many different fields. Our company is constantly evolving.

The diversity of Ifis People motivates us to set ever more ambitious goals within the market and to be more innovative, agile and smart every day. Fundamental to this process is our Inclusive Leadership Model and Ifis Academy, which helps people to train and specialise, with continuous investment in upskilling and reskilling. One of the main initiatives is Ready To Race, the first experiential training course for young talents, stemming from a desire to support the growth of Ifis People.

Banca Ifis is the first Italian bank certified for #genderequality by the Winning Women Institute. This achievement confirms the Bank’s strong focus on an issue as important to us as gender equality. We will continue to invest in this area; men and women must lead a group comprising men and women. This is and will continue to be an important managerial lever for us in the future.

MAURO BARACCHI, Human Resources Director

Growth Paths

It is far from simple to design an optimal growth path, as you need to define your goals and the best strategies to achieve them.

At Banca Ifis, we want people to pursue and realize their professional aspirations and enjoy personal growth in the company, including in technical skills, managerial skills, confidence, independence, and valorisation.

Remuneration and benefits

We consider it essential that employees of Banca Ifis receive tangible and transparent feedback on their commitment to their everyday work.

This is why we apply remuneration and incentive policies following the company’s objectives and values, the long-term strategies and the Group’s prudent risk management policies. We apply an annual reward system that follows the evaluation of individuals and incentive systems that focus on the sales force.

Develop your potential with training: Ifis Academy

Ifis Academy is the training, promotion and development centre for Banca Ifis’ talent. Stemming from the commitment of our management to involve internal organisational structures with internationally renowned partners and top business schools.

Inspired by the Bank’s leadership model, it is a management school that constantly enhances the technical and behavioural skills of all its people, Ifis People.
