We want to help build a more sustainable and inclusive economic model. In our industrial plan, the business objectives are supported and integrated by a sustainability strategy aimed at obtaining positive and tangible impacts on the environment, people and communities.

Our commitment to ESG

Environment, inclusion, ethics and transparency

We have set ourself the important task to further integrate ESG criteria into our business model.

With a clear vision: sustainability, in all its forms, represents a lever for creating value and a key driver of development which considers the tangible impacts on people, the environment and the community.

This is why we have defined in the new Business Plan a project that sets precise objectives and commitments in the three dimensions – Environment, Social and Governance – with real plans to develop the core business from the perspective of ESG.

These are the lines of action that will guide our work in the period of 2022-2024 and with which we will help achieve the goals for sustainable development set by the UN 2030 Agenda.

We support Italian SMEs in the energy transition, we are committed to the financial re-inclusion of families with an ethical model of credit recovery, and we have launched Kaleidos, our Social Impact Lab to promote projects with a high social impact and support collective growth.

Towards a Zero Impact World

We want to make our contribution to achieving carbon neutrality.

Net-Zero Banking Alliance

We are the first Italian bank to join the Net-Zero Banking Alliance, with the aim of eliminating net emissions on the loan portfolio by 2050.

Change PMI

With Change PMI we support the energy transition of SMEs through beneficial-rate loans and an ESG assessment and rating service.

Kaleidos is the Social Impact Lab born to promotes projects with a high social impact for culture, health and the community.

We support the financial re-inclusion of families: an ethical model of recovery, access to credit, and support for vulnerable people.

We invest in the growth of Ifis People, offering training courses and policies aimed at improving the work-life balance.

ESG governance as a guarantee of transparency

We have set up a Sustainability Committee to guide the strategy and consolidate the corporate culture, based on inclusion and diversity.

Rating ESG

We will improve the level of our ESG rating as a guarantee of our commitments.

We build a path of continuous dialogue with all our stakeholders. We use moments of direct dialogue, such as events or possibilities made available by digital communication tools, to collect the needs of each interlocutor.
