An ideas contest to create the “manifesto for change”
“What would you change about the society you live in, and in what ways?”
This question is the starting point for Giovanni Caccamo’s new project, ‘Parola ai giovani’, designed to give young people a voice and together create a Manifesto for Change. After the release of his latest album ‘Parola’, the singer-songwriter has become the spokesperson for his generation. He is launching a new collective project in partnership with major Italian universities.
Banca Ifis supports the project involving students and outstanding under 35-year-olds in the arts, science, music and sport.
“Listening to the younger generation and actively involving them in an open debate about tomorrow, especially at this historic time, is key to building a fairer and more inclusive future.”
Fifteen university symposia and an ideas competition to create a programme on – ‘socio-cultural’, ‘environmental’ and ‘spiritual’ Change.
During the symposia, through listening to the songs from the new album ‘Parola’ and their inspirational lyrics, the artist will share paths and reflections with the students, sparking a collective debate on the topics covered, the importance of words and the ideas of #Change.
