Sport as a training ground for growth, friendship and inclusion

The Paolo Mantovani Cup is the largest youth school tournament in Europe to have received UEFA – Respect support.  Every year, children from the 3rd to 5th grades in the Ligurian and Piedmont regions experience a week of sports, participating in activities such as athletics, volleyball, cycling, football, and sailing, with the aim of learning through play.

Why we support the project

We have supported this initiative since 2020 because we believe in the value of sport as an educational and social driver. For us, the Paolo Mantovani Cup is a virtuous example of how sport can promote inclusion and learning among young people.

Investing in the values of sport and young people means investing in the future of communities. This is why supporting the tournament is consistent with our ESG vision, which is geared towards the creation of sustainable value for people and territories.

Paolo Mantovani Cup

The Paolo Mantovani Cup is Europe’s largest youth school tournament. The initiative involves thousands of primary school children, offering them the opportunity to try their hand at no fewer than thirteen sports disciplines under the expert eyes of the eleven sports federations involved. Throughout the ten-day event held in May, children engage in educational workshops between games to learn through play. The aim is to convey current and important values, such as clean energy, recycling, healthy nutrition, innovation, and promotion of the region.
