Antonella Malinconico

Independent Director and Lead Independent Director

Antonella Malinconico has been a Director of Banca Ifis since 2016.
She graduated in Economy and Commerce from the Università Federico II of Naples and was later awarded, from the same university, a PhD in Financial Science for Companies. She is currently full professor of the Economy of financial intermediaries at the Università degli Studi del Sannio. She is the author of numerous studies and publications on: Risk Management in Banks, Management of Non Performing Loans, Prudential Supervision, Banks – Companies Relations.
She has been a licensed Accountant since 1995 and is a consultant on financial matters for numerous banking institutions, where she also provides training.
Over the years she has held various professional posts, among which the post of member of the Board of the Bank of Italy (Naples branch) from December 2008 to May 2014, until she was co-opted in the Board of Directors of Banca Antonio Capasso S.p.A., of which she was a member from 2014 to 2016.
