Rosalba Benedetto

Vice Chair

Born in Messina in 1976.

Rosalba Benedetto joined Banca Ifis in 2019.
She built his career in the world of communication starting with a targeted education with a Master’s degree in External Relations and Press Office and becoming a publicist journalist. After an initial experience in a communications agency, she joined a large and changing industrial company as is the Autogrill group, where she held the position of Head of Communications Management. During those years, she accompanied the Group’s international growth, contributing with a strategic vision to the evolution of its image and identity.

She then took on the role of Ilva’s Director of Communication and External Relations at a critical time for the national industry. In that context, she also managed the communication of a crucial step: the sale of the assets to ArcelorMittal, the union negotiations and the agreement between the government and the new ownership. This experience allowed her to gain important expertise on sustainability issues, relations with local communities and institutions.

Since September 2019, Rosalba Benedetto has taken on a central role in the Banca Ifis Group, first as Director of Communications, Marketing, Sustainability and Institutional Relations and later as Chief of Chairman Staff. At Banca Ifis, she leads a wide-ranging project that started with the rebranding – aimed at positioning the Group as the reference challenger bank in the Italian credit market for services to SMEs and Npl management – and that has evolved over the years through an increasingly strategic approach integrated between ESG, business and stakeholder engagement. A commitment to D&I, with a focus on ‘people culture’, reputation and the creation of shared value, completes the picture.

She holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Messina.
