What were your thoughts when you joined Banca Ifis?
Before joining Banca Ifis, I was going through a period where I wasn’t very happy about my job and I was looking for a radical change. So I immediately seized the opportunity to enter a completely different environment, which was young, dynamic and constantly changing. Banca Ifis is not a traditional bank, as also shown by the warmth and attention to detail you feel straight away as you enter its General Headquarters, where I’ve been happily working for quite a few years now.
What about your personal growth at Banca Ifis?
I joined a team that was in the process of being created to set up a new office of the bank, now well-established. I fitted in immediately and I started to grow both personally and professionally, something that brings me great satisfaction on a daily basis. I had a completely different educational background (a degree in languages) and professional experience (insurance sector). Right from the first day, I started studying and learning more about economic and financial matters every day to support my training in banking and my job at Banca Ifis.
What brought you most satisfaction at work?
These have been years full of achievements and small daily accomplishments, there are constantly new stimuli to seize. If I were to draw a balance of my working experience at Banca Ifis, I would certainly consider the year when I was assigned with a personal and office budget for the first time. Reaching it gave me a great boost to improve on a daily basis. Now, seven years after joining the bank, I consider myself an important figure in the office and I feel appreciation and gratitude from all internal and external colleagues.
What do you expect from your future, both from a professional and personal point of view?
I see a future full of new experiences ahead of me, both personal and professional ones. Banca Ifis is an ever-changing environment, there are a number of new projects underway and new goals to achieve. I’m ready to rise to these new challenges by always giving my all.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I have been asked to take part in this interview at a time during which the pandemic has disrupted the professional and personal lives of all of us. The bank’s approach in rising to the challenges of global change is praiseworthy. In a very short space of time, it gave us the chance to organise ourselves with all the work equipment in our new ‘office’, our home. Once again, our bank proved how much it cares about the well-being of its employees.
