Interbanca (the Banca IFIS Group) and C.M.C. have reached a financing agreement for 20 million Euro

Milan, 20 February 2017 – Interbanca (part of the Banca IFIS Group since November 2016) and C.M.C. of Ravenna (one of the leading construction companies in Italy) have signed an agreement involving a medium-term loan totalling 20 million Euro.

This financing will help sustain important development in the Group’s foreign orders portfolio. It is another example of Banca IFIS Impresa’s support, which aims to help excellent Groups and SMEs carry out their growth and expansion projects, even at an international level.

Interbanca’s Commercial Lending Manager, Stefano Cirella, commented: “This is a very important deal, reached with a high standing customer not only on the Italian market. An operation that gives us confidence and shows not only the excellence of Italian businesses in various sectors who are able to flourish even globally, but also Banca IFIS’s ability and willingness to lend support to the growth of honest businesses such as C.M.C.“.

C.M.C.’s C.F.O., Alberto Morigi, added “The closing of this transaction with a leading Italian bank like the Banca IFIS Group, gives our company great satisfaction as it demonstrates that, despite everything, the Italian economy is looking for new developments through collaboration between companies and the credit system. Specifically, this deal will help sustain C.M.C.’s national and international growth and development plan“.
