Piazza San Marco, Venice – Banca Ifis is the main sponsor of the “Manolo Valdés – Las Meninas a San Marco” exhibition, once again reinforcing its commitment to preserving artistic heritage. The square will host ten “Reina Mariana” and a monumental “Infanta Margarita”, works by Manolo Valdés that give a plastic body to some of Velázquez’s famous subjects. These are cast bronze versions of portraits painted by Velázquez of Maria Anna of Austria and Margarita Maria Theresa of Habsburg respectively.
