Banca Ifis plants more than 2200 trees together with WoW Nature and Arbolia

Banca Ifis plants new roots for the future sustaining two important reforestation projects in Italy.

At Christmas, thanks to its partnership with WoW Nature, a project of Etifor a Padua University spin-off company, the Bank donated a tree to each employee to mitigate and lower CO2 emissions in the environment. We are talking about almost 1900 trees to be planted next spring in the Brenta River Park and the Oglio Sud Regional Park that extends along the river stretches of the lower waterway of the Oglio, from the Mella river to the mouth of the Po in the province of Cremona. The Bank has undertaken to look after and maintain the trees for three years.

Another important reforestation initiative was launched this morning by Milan Municipality and started by Forestami, a Milan Polytechnic project, and Arbolia benefit company of Snam and CDP Foundation, to develop new green areas close to the motorway junctions of the Milan metropolitan city. Banca Ifis will contribute to the project by planting 350 indigenous tree species, to help recreate new green spaces.
