The preview of the XXI Triennale di Milano entitled “21st Century. Design After Design” is taking place on Thursday, March 31st and Friday, April 1st, whilst the official opening to the public will be on Saturday, April 2nd.
During the International Exhibition, Banca IFIS will be exhibition partner of the New Craft Exhibition curated by Stefano Micelli, author of Futuro Artigiano and professor at the Ca’ Foscari Univeristy of Venice. According to this curator, this exhibition signifies “dialogue between different sensitivity and cultures which becomes the means through which to draw attention to social and cultural projects in which artisans are conscious protagonists”.
An exhibition that combines ancient knowledge with futuristic technologies: not only products – the many sectors involved are very different, from bicycles to jewels to letterpress print– but also methods. In this way, the exhibition gives life to a real laboratory creating extraordinary objects and giving visitors an upfront and personal view on how the new instruments of digital manufacturing work.
